Our wine growers farm is situated in the center of Burgen, with plenty of surrounding space to sit outside, for barbecues, to play games or just relax.

Our 11pt village is idyllicly situated, away from through traffic and mass tourism. The holiday apartments are well furnished and offer the most modern of comforts. Ideal for everybody who wants to plan there holiday individually, who is looking for peace and quiet and who takes delight in wine and unspoilt nature.

Every holiday apartment is self-contained and with a separate entrance.

Holiday appartment I ***(Schwalbennest)
40m² for 2-3 people
Double bedroom, living-room with a sofabed, eating area and complete kitchen units. Bathroom with shower and WC (toilet). Pretty terrace partly coverd.

Holiday appartment II ***(Adlerhorst)
80 m² for 2-6 people
Two double bedrooms, large living-room with double sofabed, eating area and complete kitchen units. Bathroom with shower and WC. Large coverd terrace.

Holiday appartment III ***(Taubenschlag)
70 m² for 2-6 people
Two double bedrooms, living room with eating area and double sofabed, separte kitchen unit. Large bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Small balcony. Hot water on consumption.

Holiday home IV ****(altes Bauernhaus)
120 m² on two floors for 2-12 people

Ground floor: a hall with stairs, a living room with double sofabed, fireplace and a big dining table. Guest-WC and storeroom.

First floor: Three double bedrooms. Large bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Small balcony. Electricity on consumption.

Second floor: A big living- and bedroom. Bathroom with shower and WC.

An old, complete new renovated farmhouse with a wood floor and stairs. From the living room its possible to go and sit outside.

Every flat has a satelite colour TV and the possibility of arranging childrens cots. Crockery, tablecloths and bedding is included. Towels on request. It is enough parking place . Grill, table tennis and bicycles for house guests. Hot Spot (W-Lan) is in every flat (I-IV) available.

Try my wine and you’ll be convinced of its quality! We have everything to offer from vin ordinaire to high quality sweet wines.
I prefer a close-to-nature management of my vineyards and a careful processing of grapes and wine. All wines are specially grown, hand-picked and selected.
As I’ve already mentioned, we cultivate our vineyards as closely as possible to nature. Through 11pt yields of highly mature but still healthy harvest, we achieve the requirements for an aromatic and extract rich wine.

The main type of vine we cultivate is the Riesling, which produces mineralrich, unique wines in our Mosel-Saar-Ruwer cultivation area. We also cultivate other white wines, including Müller-Thurgau, Rivaner, Kerner, Ortega, and Grauburgunder. We also offer two sorts of red wine; Blauen Spätburgunder, the best German red wine, and the current favourite, Dornfelder.
