The vacation home Rursee is a log house built of real boles. With seven layers of German Douglas logs the walls are put up in an original Canadian style. This construction gives the building a singular and individual look which is rare to find. Building handcrafted log homes has a very long tradition. The atmosphere in these houses is warm and cozy as wood naturally insulates. Log homes are very cool in summer and very warm in winter thanks to air cells in the wood bowles. There is no need for chemical wood preservation, the walls are just covered with natural oil. Log homes are nature at its best. You will feel at peace with nature in this kind of vacation home.

The Eifel-Chalet offers three bedrooms, each with two, three or four beds. It features a luxurious bathroom and a separate shower place as well. The comfortable living area, the fully equipped, large kitchen and the gallery offer enough space for indoor- activities. There is enough room for children to play. The whole house is warmed by underfloor heating. Additionally, a wood stove warms and gives a very special atmosphere.The antique furnitures on the main floor create a pleasant contrast to the modern furnitures on the upper floor. All floors are made out of high quality natural flagstones and an elegante decoration underlines the unique appearance. A beautiful backyard, a large terrace and two balconies offer enough space for recreation. You can enjoy wonderful views from all parts around the house. The wellness area is in the basement, sauna including. In front of the house there is a parking place for three cars. In a seperate summer house bikes can be parked.
