No matter whether you are alone, a couple, or with the family, you will feel at home in our completely furnished, comfortable, spacious holiday apartments. We have three spacious holiday apartments from 50 to 75 square meters in size and one studio. The Silberdistel, located in the quiet center of Rieden, was completely renovated in 2001 and there are numerous places to visit in the immediate vicinity. Whether breakfast, lunch, or supper, if you don’t feel like cooking yourself, you can take all your meals at our restaurant on the ground floor. Our exquisite game dishes from our own hunts in the Eifel and many fish specialties are famous far beyond the borders of Rieden and you will be certain to enjoy them too. Round off our culinary delights with one of the wines from our well-stocked wine cellar with over 50 wines from all over the world.  

Rieden and the surrounding area have a great deal to offer: 
There are many tourist sites in the town and the surroundings. There is the mineral spring just 800 m from here, the forest lake with swimming area 1.2 km from here, our 577 m high viewing platform "Gänsehalsturm" with a view of Cologne some 70 km away, our numerous hiking trails, Maria Laach with its volcanic lake and the famous Benedictine Abbey, the Nürburgring, etc., etc., etc. ...
