Pension Sonnenwende is located in the beautiful German Eifel in a 11pt village called Reimerath. The Eifel offers an unique landscape with hills, forests and lakes. The area is well known by its clean air end offers you breathtaking panoramic views. Every season is an experience on its own. The surrounding is very well suited for walkers, horse riders, ambitious cyclists, Nordic walkers, mountainbikers, motorbikers and visitors of the Nürburgring.

The boarding-house
Our boarding-house has 9 cosy rooms. A few rooms have a beautiful view over the Eifellandscape. All rooms are situated on the second floor (no elevator is available). The service is based on bed and breakfast. Smoking inside the boarding-house is not allowed, outside we have a smoking corner.

• 1 family room with 2 beds and a bunk bed, with shower and toilet

• 3 double rooms with wash-hand basin and toilet, shower is in the corridor
• A child's bedstead on request.
• All rooms are furnished with single beds.

Groups
Groups up to 21 persons are very welcome at our pension. Pension Sonnenwende offers an attractive arrangement for a visit in the period from September - May. For reservations of groups from 8 up to 21 persons we give a discount of 10%on the room prices (for a minimum of 2 nights). This offer is not valid during major events at the Nürburgring. For groups of 8 persons minimum we can arrange dinner, a buffet or a barbecue.

From our boarding-house you can start the following activities:
• Walking: there are many beautiful scenic routes. Walking maps are available.
• Horse riding: take your horse and ride into the forests, over the hills and through the valleys.
• Ambitious cycling: it is very challenging to ride a bike in the Eifel. Bicycle maps available.
• Nordic walking: weekly organized routes from Kelberg and beautiful routes in the Oberelztal.
• Mountain biking: there are many mountain bike routes (maps available). There is a special mountain bike route next to the Nürburgring.
• Motor biking: the Eifel is an excellent area for motor bikers, experience this by yourself.

• Wellness Center in Welcherath (opening summer 2010).
• Off road driving for SUV's & Terrain cars in Drees.
• Climbing tower in Boos. The so called Eifel tower of Boos  is made of wood and is 25 meter high, in combination with a 4 km long walking route for children.
• The 12 km long History street (history of the region).
• Open air swimming pool in Kelberg.

Nürburgring 
Pension Sonnenwende is situated on only a 3 km distance of the world famous Nürburgring. The place to be for car racing and motor sport lovers.
