This well kept campsite is maintained in an environmentally friendly way. The clear waters of the Sauer, easily accessible from spacious lawns, offer safe bathing for children and adults alike.

To ensure that you enjoy your holiday to the full Toodlermillen offers excellent facilities, including a shop selling regional and biological products, a restaurant, community room and modern toilet block catering for the needs of the disabled and equipped with a changing table for families with young children. Committed to sustainable development Toodlermillen makes use of solar energy and makes every effort to avoid water an air pollution.

Winery
From the growing of our vineyards to the vinification, the development and the filling of the bottles; in our winery we do everything on our own.

Wine quality is important to us, regarding all kinds of wine: from vintage wine to the noblest sorts of wine. Less is more! In our vineyards we only produce 11pt amounts of grapes. By doing this the grapevines can ripen perfectly. In harmony with the nature the grapes then are vinified individually into wine.

A slowly and guided fermentation grants a well directed development of pure and well-tasting wines. These wines are encircled by endless kinds of fruit flavors and extractives which develop into the tastes dry, semi-dry up to smooth.

Don’t study the label, try the wine
Wine is being prejudged like no other product. Many so-called "professionals" don’t know if they like a wine until they have studied the label. We recommend: don’t judge a wine by names and brands. It’s better to judge wines on your own. Do a wine-tasting. That can be learned! Rule no. 1 is practice, practice, practice! We are not talking about the amount but the diversity of the wines and the regularity of a wine-tasting.

We`d like to say a heraty welcome to all the freinds of wine, to the friends of the river Moselle and to all those, who`d like to make friends with our region and its products.

We are owners of a quality- vinery and our vineyards are situated in the best wine-growing districts of the town St. aldegund. In majority we cultivate the typical-traditional grapevine of "Riesling", which prospers in steep stopes favored by the sun.

Morover we cultivate grapevines like "Mueller-Thurgau", "Rivaner", "Elbling", "Dornfelder" and "Spaetburgunder". Our yuality-wines are filled in bottles after they habe passed a professional storage in wine-casks. Besides our wines we can also present our champagne of St. Aldegund.

In running our vineyards we constantly try to save traditional viticulture and to bring it in harmony with modern ecological knowledge respecting aspects of healthiness and the care of our environment. So we run our vineyards by modern machines o­nly in plain districts and at the bottom of our vineyards; in steep stopes manual labour ist still required.
